Sanibel photographer is one of my favorite “titles”. If you know me you know that Sanibel is my second home and one of my favorite places to take pictures, for a number of reasons: the host of awesome locations, the vacation vibe, and the opportunity to capture your vacation memories in pictures- forever.

Sanibel Island: The Best Photo Spots

Firstly, Sanibel’s beautiful. The options for locations are numerous. If you are a beach person, like me, nothing beats the seaside in Sanibel. When you plan your trip, make sure to save time to check out some of these beaches. Bowman’s Beach is spacious and pretty; it is a perfect place to spend the day and take beach pictures. Don’t forget your coolers, you can BBQ your lunch or dinner.

Without a doubt, sunset pictures are spectacular. If this is the setting you want, we can head to Blind Pass Beach. Whether you are looking for a romantic setting for a couples photoshoot or a perfect Sanibel background, this spot is ideal.

And, I’ll share one more of my favorites for good measure, especially if you are a seashell lover. Gulfside City Park is a shell lover’s dream. In fact, it is a great place to take some uniquely Sanibel-themed pictures!

Leverage the Vacation Vibe

Above all, vacations make people smile! And when vacationing on Sanibel, everyone is happy! How could they not be? The island is beautiful. There are awesome hotels and beachside cottages. Fabulous restaurants. And, so much to do.

If you are looking for elegance, consider Casa Ybel, a magnificent resort with a spa. It’s super romantic and hosts many weddings year-round. The beach pictures here are unreal. If you want a truly relaxed spot, visit Sundial – it’s perfect for families. The rooms have kitchens making it easy to grab breakfast or lunch before you head out to the beautiful beach. And, if you are looking for one spot that has everything head over to Captiva to South Seas Resort. The range of accommodations is considerable and the resort has it all.

Dining options in Sanibel are endless. For example, there is everything from convenient and welcoming coffee shops to casual outdoor dining to high-end restaurants. Visitors love the variety. Sometimes when I’m here I my biggest decision is where to eat. Life is good for this Sanibel Photographer!
